I learned through what I loved!
I didn’t learn English from a teacher. I loved the language—and Hannah Montana had a lot to do with it. Yes, really!
I spent hours alone in my room watching English series and films, listening to songs, and reading the full English novels from my own and my older sister’s school curriculum. I even wrote my own short stories!
In preparatory school, I started volunteering as a translator. In my first year of university, I started teaching.
You, too, can go further than you ever imagined by enjoying what you do—and becoming disciplined about making time for it. Find something you love, keep showing up, and give it room to take you somewhere new.
