Speak Boldly

Some things an English coach wants you to know!

Start when you’re not ready.

Readiness often grows through practice. You might be waiting to know more words, feel less nervous, or find the perfect moment to speak. Give yourself a smaller beginning instead: one greeting, one question, or a short voice note. You can pause, ask for help, and correct yourself as you go. Starting with the English you have gives you something real to build on. You don’t need complete confidence to take your first step.

Try this today: record a thirty-second introduction without writing a script first. Say what you can, pause when you need to, and finish your thought. Let this be a beginning you can build on.
